Club Penguin released a new Club Penguin Times Issue Today.

Club Penguin will be releeasing Sledding Gear on April 24, 2009! Unfortunetly, the gear will only be available to members, and my membership expires on April the 19.

Also on April 24, 2009 there will be a Member Dance Competition in the Night Club! Mabye Cadence will return to see that? I couldn’t see her not coming. Now for the current events.

So There is a new puffle catalog. There is only one cheat. But there is a white house for your white puffle.

Lol. Ok look wat billybob said. Also I am going to Sacremto on Monday- Wednesday. So Mabc plz take over.

A new sled and new songs! Game upgrades to Sled Racing and Dance Contest are here and we’re really excited to hear what you think.

Penguins Getting Paid

Hello Penguins!

 

Have you ever thought about taking the quizzes to become a tour guide or PSA (Penguin Secret Agent)? If your penguin is old enough, and you’re interested in helping out around the island, you might want to consider the challenge… It’s going to be announced in the newspaper later this week that starting May 1st, penguins will get paid every month for doing those jobs!

 

I don’t want to give all the details away just yet (Aunt Arctic, the editor of the Club Penguin Times, will have an update soon), but let me say it’ll be worth your while. Let us know… What’s the first thing you’d do with extra coins every month? Do you like to spend or do you like to save?

We will now be getting paid for being a Secret Agent and a Tour Guide! We will get coins through penguin mail, heres a sneak peak at the postcard.

Update: Rockhopper in Walt Disney World

Hello Penguins!

So many of you told us you’re excited about the news that Rockhopper will be visiting Walt Disney World in Florida! Our favorite pirate penguin will be there from April 30 - May 13th.

There are lots of us who won’t be able to go, and I don’t know about you, but I’d love to hear what it’s like to meet him. So we have a request for those of you who can go to Florida during that time to meet Rockhopper: It would be really cool if you could write about it and let us know - and we’ll share some of your experiences on the blog.

For those of you who can go, get out your pirate maps and make an “X”: Hollywood Studios is the location for Captain Rockhopper’s whereabouts while he’s in Walt Disney World in Florida.

Sled Racing Updates by Screenhog!

Friday is a big day for one of Club Penguin's oldest games. Sled Racing, which is one of the five original games that has been around since Club Penguin launched, is getting some upgrades. First, starting Friday, you'll be able to buy a toboggan and ride down the hill with it. This traditional sled will be available at the Ski Hill, and if you hold it while you enter the game, you'll get to ride it!

Secondly, Sled Racing is finally getting something that most of the other games have always had... music. Have you ever noticed how much cooler games like Aqua Grabber, Catchin' Waves, and Card-Jitsu are with music in the background? Well, Sled Racing is getting some pretty cool music in it too. Of course, if you're the type of person who likes to have the sound off, the mute button in your Settings is still right there... it's okay, we won't be offended! :)

Now, here's one last thing just for fun. Have you ever wanted to see a slow motion replay of the crash your penguin makes in Sled Racing.




In Other News: Billybob just passed on some news about Rockhopper in Walt Disney World in Florida. As you know, Captain Rockhopper will be there from April 30 - May 13. We just found out that he'll be at Disney's Hollywood Studios while he's there, so get out your pirate maps and mark the spot!
